Once again
Alone with my pondering
Alone with my sadness
Alone with my overthinking
Alone with the darkness
The darkness that consumes me inside out
The darkness that consumes me whole
I’m scared. I wanna scream. I wanna shout.
I’m scared of the darkness consuming my soul.
How did I end up here
In this forsaken place
I find it hard to bare
Being in this dark and eerie space
I look around frantically
With a tight chest
Trying to find a friend desperately
Felling anxious and stressed
But as usual, I’m all alone
Or maybe I’m wrong
I should’ve known
They’ve been my company all along
My mind that ponders
My lingering sadness
My overthinking that wonders
The consuming darkness.
