Another year of not eating lunch
Another year of not eating much
This isn’t any different than being at home
Having to pass time on my phone
Not thinking about the food
Not thinking about the hunger
Not thinking of how long I have to wait to eat dinner

Another year of hiding it from my friends
It doesn’t seem this cycle is gonna end
I’ve grown too scared of not having money
So it’s better I starve and forget that I’m hungry
Saving my money for a rainy day
Because I feel more secure that way.
