Oblivion

The moment her mind eclipsed,
Leaving her desolate to plaques no longer bounded by reason.
But by empty shells without emotions, without thought.
Thoughts pumping nothingness,
As if oblivion wasn’t enough.
As heart and mind clash, barely omitting treason.
As if standing on a precipice with a road paved at the edge wasn’t insulting enough,
Like a bridge between two souls.. somewhat uneven.
As if fire clashing into ice would slow this burning fuse down.
When In the end, all she needed was convergence,
the eclipse of the mind, body and soul.
Predawn a fresh start anew.
