As I go through the night why would you make me cry?
Hurtful words you speak so bluntly, completely disregarding my boundaries.
Why would you make me cry?
This isn’t the first time you’ve hurt me and should it be the last?
As each sentence you send and each word is read, my new fervent emotion spreads.
I can feel it in my face, my eyes, my head.
The aching pain begins.
Tears start to fall.
Why do I cry?
Is it because your words resonate?
Is it because I mentally left…us?
Is this the end of us?
Should I go back to you or should I not?
Should I continue to tolerate your disrespect to “work things out” and to….go back to the way we were?
Or should I just leave and never speak to you again?
To mourn this friendship once and for all,
You make me cry.
