The water

The deeper I swim the more intense the pressure and soon all light has faded away... a faint memory of the sun's rays illuminating my being is gone...Left stranded to wonder , where did I go wrong, did I go too deep or not deep enough....Have the sun kissed waters forgotten me... The rough ocean waves encase me in it's currents swaying me anyway they seem fit...is it day is it night ...the darkness is everywhere how can I tell...I see mirages of life before I took that leap into the oceans arms leaving everything behind with the hopes of finding a paradise in the distant ocean... instead I have found reality, clarity ....the waves glimmer in the sunlight creating a facade of innocent beauty calling me into the waters...will I ever come back up for air or is this my choice, my decision my fate.
